US transport helicopter project SB> 1 Defiant :

The SB> 1 Defiant is a US transport helicopter project. It is being developed by Sikorsky and Boeing. The first prototype of SB> 1 Defiant was presented on December 26, 2018. The first flight took place on March 21, 2019. Its name of the manufacturer is Sikorsky S-100.

The SB> 1 Defiant is equipped with a double counter-rotating rotor and a propeller propeller that will ensure its high speed. Its development is initiated by the Joint US Army Multi-Role Program (JMR) Technology Demonstrator (TD). The goal of the program is to develop a family of next-generation FVL helicopters, Future Vertical Lift.

The Royal Air Force received its last fighter jet Typhoon FGR4 :

On 27 September 2019, the BAE Systems consortium delivered to the RAF, Royal Air Force, the latest Typhoon fighter FGR4. In total, since 2003 the British Air Force has received 180 aircraft of this type. The Typhoon fighters equip eight air units and are present in the Malvinas Islands and Qatar:

Initially, the British Ministry of Defense committed to acquire 232 Thyphoons, including 55 for Tranche 1, 89 Tranche 2 and 88 Tranche 3. Tranche 3 was reduced to 16 aircraft. Currently, BAE Systems has produced 565 Typhoons out of the 623 ordered.

The British Ministry of Defense has signed the contract for the acquisition of the 8 × 8 Boxer German Armored Fighting Vehicles

On November 4, 2019, the British Ministry of Defense signed the contract for the acquisition of the 8 × 8 Boxer German Armored Fighting Vehicles. More than 500 vehicles will be acquired for £ 2.8 billion. The contract was signed with the European Organization OCCAR, Joint Organization for Cooperation on Armaments. Deliveries will begin in 2023.

The Boxer is produced by the Artec consortium, which includes the German companies Rhienmetall Defense and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, now KNDS. During the first step, the vehicles will be delivered in four versions: Troop Transport, PC, Sanitary and Weapon System Carrier. The assembly of the vehicles will be done in the United Kingdom, with the participation of the British industry.

The acquisition of the Boxer terminates the Mechanized Infantry Vehicle (MIV) program, which aimed at acquiring armored personnel carriers for the British Army. The 8 × 8 Boxer will equip the new "STRIKE brigade" alongside the Ajax tracked vehicles.

Germany and Denmark received battle tanks Leopard 2A7V and Leopard 2A7M + DK :

The German KMW company, Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, handed the German army the first Leopard 2A7V battle tank. During the same ceremony, Denmark received the first Leopard 2A7 battle tank. The Leopard 2A7V is the most modern version of the Leopard 2 battle tank family.

The Bundeswehr has signed a € 760 million contract with KMW and Rheinmetall in May 2017 for the upgrading of one hundred and four (104) Leopard 2s of different versions in Leopard 2A7. Of the one hundred and four tanks, sixty-eight (68) will be upgraded from the Leopard 2A4 version, sixteen (16) from the Leopard 2A6 version and twenty (20) from the Leopard 2A7.

On March 28, 2019, KMW received a second contract of more than 300 million euros for the modernization of one hundred tanks. Fifty-one Leopard 2A6 and fifty Leopard 2A6M2 will be worn to the Leopard 2A7V version. The delivery of the modernized tanks will be staggered until 2026. The total tanks of the German army will be increased from two hundred and twenty-five to three hundred and twenty-nine pieces.

Denmark has ordered in 2017 the modernization of forty-four (44) Leopard 2A5DK Leopard 2A7 version, officially named in the Danish army Leopard 2A7M + DK. The modernization will be carried out between 2019 and 2022.

Baptism of the American NSS Oregon (SSN 793) of the Virginia class :

The US Navy made the baptism of the SNA, Nuclear Assault Submarine, SSN 793 Oregon class Virginia. The ceremony took place on October 5, 2019 at the General Dynamics Electric Boat Shipyard in Groton, Connecticut. The SSN 793 Oregon is the 20th Virginia class building and the 2nd in the Block 4 version. The decision to name the SSN 793 in homage to the Oregon City was announced at the ceremony on October 10, 2014.

Its construction began July 8, 2017 and is scheduled for release to the US Navy in the fall of 2020. The Virginia-class ANSs are multi-purpose ANS designed for anti-submarine warfare, surface attack, land targets with Tomahawk cruise missiles, submarine mines and support for Special Forces operations.
